Merino Batts (28.5 mic)

Beautiful quality super strong Merino Cross- made from 29m which is ideal for harder wearing crafts such as bags, wall hangings, boots and hats. Each batt is hand dyed and comes in a layered roll - so it is easy to quickly to layout for both wet felting and needle felting.

Batts are approx. 200grams (7oz) in weight and are approx. 50cm (20") by 180cm (72"). Batts can be split into thinner layer for Nuno felt - doubled for a thicker felt or butt together for wider felt. For the felt maker they speed up the process of making felt. You just 1. unroll the batt 2. embellish as desired 3.wet with very warm soap/water solution and felt by you preferred method.  Batts felt quicker then tops/roving laid out in the traditional method.
