Possum/Alpaca/Merino Batts

For something a little different try our wonderfully soft Tasmanian possum, Alpaca and Australian Fine Merino Batts. We use 19.5 Micron.

Our Fine Possum/Alpaca/Merino Batts are exceptionally soft and fantastic to use for scarves, hats and clothing as the soft wool fibres will not itch or irritate the skin. Batts are approx. 100grams (3.5oz) in weight and are approx. 50cm (20") by 180cm (72"). Batts can be split into thinner layers for Nuno felt - doubled for a thicker felt or butt together for wider felt. For the felt maker they speed up the process of making felt. You just 1. Unroll the batt 2. Embellish as desired 3.Wet with very warm soap/water solution and felt by your preferred method.  Batts felt quicker then tops/roving laid out in the traditional method.
