Fine Merino Batts

Our Fine Merino Batts are exceptionally soft and fantastic to use for scarves, hats and clothing as the soft wool fibres will not itch or irritate the skin. We use 19.5 Micron Australian Merino.

Batts are approx. 200grams (7oz) in weight and are approx. 50cm (20") by 180cm (72"). Batts can be split into thinner layer for Nuno felt - doubled for a thicker felt or butt together for wider felt. For the felt maker they speed up the process of making felt. You just 1. unroll the batt 2. embellish as desired 3.wet with very warm soap/water solution and felt by you preferred method.  Batts felt quicker then tops/roving laid out in the traditional method.
